an afternoon indoors into a relaxing and enjoyable activity.
Here are two easy Christmas crafts that anyone can try at home. They are low cost,
beginner friendly and perfect for adding a personal touch to your festive season.

1. Spiced Orange and Cinnamon DecorationsThese natural decorations look beautiful on a tree, hung in a window or placed in a bowl as
festive potpourri. They are simple to make and fill your home with a gentle Christmas scent.
You will need
• 2 oranges
• String or ribbon
• A handful of whole cloves
• 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks
• A baking tray and oven
How to make it
1. Slice the oranges into thin rounds and place them on a baking tray.
2. Dry them in the oven at a low heat (about 120°C) for 2 to 3 hours, turning them
halfway through. They should be firm and slightly crisp.
3. Once cool, make a small hole at the top of each slice and thread through string or
ribbon.
4. Decorate by pushing whole cloves into the orange or tying on a piece of cinnamon
stick.
5. Hang them up or arrange them in a bowl.
They add warmth, colour and a cosy Christmas feel without costing much at all.
