Facilities
All Heles Terrace flats have a new central heating and hot water system, which combined with full double glazing and insulation makes the properties very economical to run. There are also Smoke Detectors and ample raised power points. There is a guest room nearby that is available for use by family and friends.
Management Services
The Almshouses were built by a charity founded by Mr Elize Hele. The Charity is administered by a voluntary board of Trustees. Day to day administration is carried out by a part-time Manager and Assistant who work from an office on site.
Warden and Caretaker
There is a resident Warden who will deal with emergencies and maintenance problems. All flats are connected to the Emergency Alarm who provide an emergency response service outside of his working hours.

Each resident to pay their own gas and electric. Residents do not have to pay water rates and are entitled to a £7.50 per year concessionary TV Licence fee if under 75 years of age. The total rent qualifies for Housing Benefit and support costs are paid to us directly. Rents and service charges are reviewed each financial year.
